In-charge audits of Health Care and Non-Profit Entities in which we prepare financial statements, cost reports and 990’s
Where were you born and raised?
Born in Overland Park, KS and raised in Junction City, KS
Who are your family members?
Father – Mike Morris, Chiropractor
Mother – Karen
Siblings – I am the 2nd of 4 kids, I have 2 sisters and a brother.
What are your hobbies?
Triathlons, marathons, other distance races, golf, softball, and any other sport I can get involved in. I also enjoy hunting and fishing.
How many years have you been in healthcare?
I have been working with healthcare clients for 3 ½ years.
What made you choose healthcare?
It was a large part of our audit practice and presented many growth opportunities. I enjoyed working with the Partner and Manager in charge of the healthcare jobs and just seemed like a good fit for me.
Who or what led you to join HFMA?
Once I decided to focus on healthcare as a specialization it just made sense to connect and network with others in the industry. It was also encouraged by the Partner and Manager I work for.
